Shree Cement: A Pioneer in Waste Heat Recovery and Green Cement Technology

1979: Shree Cement Ltd. was incorporated.

1984: It got listed on the Indian stock market.

It was founded in Baewar, Rajasthan and is headquartered in Kolkata. It is the third-largest cement company in India by market capitalisation. It has a cement production capacity of 46.4 million tonnes per annum in India and 4 million tonnes per annum in the UAE. It produces Ordinary Portland Cement, Portland Pozzolana Cement, Portland Slag Cement, etc. The company produces Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Blocks and is also involved in power production.

It has a diversified brand portfolio consisting of Roofon, Bangur Power, Shree Jung Rodhak, Bangur Cement, etc. Various indices have it as its constituent, such as Nifty 100,  Nifty Infrastructure, etc. It has won several awards and recognitions for its excellence in quality, innovation, governance, sustainability and social responsibility.
