Indus Towers Ltd came into being as a joint venture between Bharti Infratel, Vodafone Essar, and Idea Cellular to combine their passive infrastructure assets across 15 telecom circles. Later, Bharti Infratel was integrated with Indus Tower, and the new entity was named Indus Tower Limited. It is an Indian telecommunications infrastructure company that offers passive infrastructure services to mobile network operators and other wireless service providers.
