Deepak Nitrite: A Leader in Responsible Chemistry for Over 50 Years

Many daily-use products are available in the market, like soap, detergent, medicines, etc., which are sold by various companies, but all have one common requirement. Almost every manufactured product needs some chemical in the form of raw materials. Tapping into the opportunity, Deepak Nitrite Ltd. was incorporated.

June 1970: Deepak Nitrite Ltd. was incorporated.

April 1971: It got listed on the Indian stock market

Quality raw material is needed for a quality product, and a company that can provide quality chemicals is in demand all over the world. It makes chemicals used in agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, dyes & pigments, petrochemicals, etc. Through its 5 multi-division units, it is fulfilling the chemicals demand of India as well as exporting its products to over 29+ countries through its vast distribution network.

It holds a 70% market share in India in important inorganic compounds, such as sodium nitrite, sodium nitrate, nitric acid, etc. Various indices have it as its constituent, such as Nifty Midcap 150, Nifty India Manufacturing, etc.

In 2020, when it was already getting benefits due to the China-plus-one strategy, the coronavirus pandemic forced the world to look for other alternatives for China, due to which the price of the chemicals increased in the global market.
