It was founded in Baewar, Rajasthan and is headquartered in Kolkata. It is the third-largest cement company in India by market capitalisation. It has a cement production capacity of 46.4 million tonnes per annum in India and 4 million tonnes per annum in the UAE. It produces Ordinary Portland Cement, Portland Pozzolana Cement, Portland Slag Cement, etc. The company produces Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Blocks and is also involved in power production.
