Indian Oil Corporation Limited: A Journey from Independence to Deregulation

1964: Indian Oil Corporation Limited was incorporated by merging both companies.
It is the largest PSU by revenue and operates NINE refineries out of the 23 refineries present in India. Indian Oil also has 12 international assets in its portfolio.
Over time, Indian Oil started operating in various segments of the oil and gas value chain to make the overall business more cost-effective. It works in refining, pipeline, marketing, exploration and production, petrochemicals, natural gas, and renewable energy.
