It was formed due to the splitting of the Cadila, incorporated in 1952, between the Modi and Patel family. It became the founder Ramanbhai Patel family’s holding company. It has manufacturing facilities for the formulation, active pharmaceutical ingredients, biosimilars, vaccines, etc., thus making it present in the whole value chain.
