Vedanta Ltd: A Diversified Mining Giant with a Rich History

1965: The company was incorporated as Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd.

2015: Sterlite Industries and Sesa Goa were merged. Later the combined entity name was changed to Vedanta Limited.

2017: Cairn India was merged with Vedanta Limited.

Vedanta Ltd. is a part of various Indian indices. It is also the first Indian company listed on the London Stock Exchange. It has won several awards for its excellence in sustainability, corporate governance, innovation, and social responsibility. 

Vedanta is a leading global natural resources and technology conglomerate operating in India and in 3 countries on the African continent.
