SBI Nifty 50 ETF: A fund that lets you enjoy the benefits of diversification and liquidity

Index funds are recently gaining a lot of hype, but they have their own pros and cons. People who want to still trade in Indices and want to remove cons focus on index Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). SBI ETF Nifty 50 is one of those funds. SBI Funds Management Ltd has an experience of over 36 years in managing mutual funds and ETFs.

July 20, 2015: SBI Nifty 50 was launched.

July 27, 2015: It was listed on NSE.

It has a very low expense ratio of 0.07%, whereas SBI Nifty 50 Index Fund has an expense ratio of 0.15%. If you buy Rs.100 of SBI Nifty 50 ETF and Index Fund, the expense ratio will be Rs. 0.07 and Rs. 0.15, respectively. Since its inception (July 2015) till July 2023, SBI Nifty 50 ETF has given 151.53% absolute returns.
