Whenever it comes to travel involving a small group of 15 people, the usual choice for a single transport vehicle is a traveller. The manufacturer of the exact vehicle made another popular product which made the word tempo synonym for small goods carriers. Do you know the name of the company behind the famous brands? Its name is Force Motors Ltd., which has made its name due to the quality of vehicles it provides in several segments.

September 1958: Bajaj Tempo Motors was incorporated.
May 2005: The name of the company was changed to Force Motors Ltd.
May 2006: It got listed on the Indian stock market.

It is an Indian MNC that produces light commercial, small commercial, multiutility, sports utility, agricultural vehicles, etc. It has a vertically integrated business in the value chain, thus making its own component for its products. It operates two separate facilities for producing and testing engines & transmissions exclusively for BMW and Mercedes. It also entered into a JV with Rolls Royce Power Systems AG to create engines meant for power generation.

It provides its products in the domestic market & also exports to the Middle East, Asia, Latin America and Africa through its 4 manufacturing plants. Various indices have it as its constituent, such as the Nifty Total Market, S&P BSE Smallcap, etc.
