Berger Paints India is more than a paint company. It has been a heritage beautifying homes, office, and landmarks in India and abroad for nearly 100 years. It started as a small paint business in Kolkata called Hadfield’s (India) Ltd on 17 December 1923. After many changes in ownership and name, it became Berger Paints India Ltd in 1991 under the Dhingra brothers’ vision.

The company offers a variety of products for different segments and needs, such as decorative paints, industrial coatings, protective coatings, powder coatings, automotive paints, and specialty paints. It has 16 factories in India, 2 in Nepal, and 1 in Poland and Russia. It operates in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and the Middle East. The company has won many awards and certifications for its excellence, innovation, and sustainability.

Berger Paints India Ltd joined the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on 14 March 1996 with the symbol BERGEPAINT. It is also on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) with the code 509480. The company is part of various indices such as Nifty 100, Nifty 200, Nifty 500, Nifty Next 50, S&P BSE 100, S&P BSE 200, S&P BSE 500, and others.
