In ancient times human settlements were established near the resources needed to remain alive. Some resources, such as water, are required daily in large quantities. Its solution for transportation was found in the form of pipes. Over many years due to technological advancement, pipes have changed a lot according to the purpose of their use. Welspun Corp Ltd. is involved in the production of pipes for different industries.
April 1995: Welspun Gujarat Stahl Rohren was incorporated.
January 1997: It was listed on the Indian stock market.
April 2010: The name of the company was changed to Welspun Corp Ltd.
March 2023: It acquired Sintex BAPL.
Its product portfolio includes carbon steel line pipes, ductile iron pipes, TMT bars & billets, pig iron, water tanks, etc. Some of its international projects are going on in the USA, Canada, UAE, etc. In the USA and Saudi Arabia, it has its international manufacturing facilities.
